Read on to get to know Jordan better:
What do you love about doing hair?
“Hair is my passion—I could not imagine doing anything else! I absolutely love doing hair because it’s a way to express myself artistically. It’s my therapy. It motivates me knowing I can make others happy and feel even more beautiful. I love a good challenge when it comes to new hairstyles, but most of all, I just love being able to see other people’s meaning of beauty when it comes to hair.”
What are some of your favorite services that you do?
“I absolutely love dimensional blondes and men’s cuts! I like the fact that I can satisfy clients and give them a new look that helps them feel more confident and maintained—whether they’re in my chair once a month or once a year. I love creating a style they can manage and enjoy until we get to have some more fun at their next visit!”
What are some services/styles you're looking forward to trying?
“Two words: Big Hair! I am in love with 80s/90s hair. I love a good textured, layered cut with lots of volume. You see it here and there now, but I’m excited to do even more of these styles and help bring the trend back! I’m an old soul and love those vintage-inspired looks.”
What’s a product you tried recently that you love?
“Currently I’m crazy about the Curl Primer and Curl Serum from the Davines line! They help tame my wavy hair and leave it feeling soft and shiny—not crunchy like other curl products. A little goes a long way and it lasts me a couple of days. I like to pair it with the Replumping Shampoo, which makes my hair feel so much thicker!”
What is your home routine?
“Being a hairstylist, it’s hard to maintain a consistent routine with my own hair—but here’s what I usually do: I start with the Davines Replumping Shampoo followed by the Love Curl Conditioner, which I let sit for about 5 minutes so my hair can soak in all the moisture (my hair is always thirsty!). Then I use Kenra Detangler and Goldwell Tame Frizz, brushing them through. If I blow dry, I use my Kenra Heat Protectant, but most days I just scrunch in Davines Curl Primer and Serum and go. I like to keep it simple—as long as my hair and scalp are healthy, I’m happy!”
What are your favorite products for the styles you love to do?
“I’d say the Blow Dry Primer is my #1 favorite—it cuts dry time in half and saves so much time. I also love the Love Smoothing Cream for keeping frizz down and adding softness and shine, especially on long hair. For shorter styles, I love using the Oi Soufflé—it gives just enough volume, is lighter than most mousses, and doesn’t leave the hair crunchy. I always finish with the Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo. It smells amazing, doesn’t leave residue, and keeps hair looking fresh for longer.”
Anything you want people to know about you?
“If you would’ve asked me five years ago what I wanted to do, I would’ve said ‘veterinary technician’ because I love animals. But once I got a glimpse into doing hair, I fell head over heels. I’ll be honest—I didn’t love hair school, and at one point, I didn’t think I was good enough. But once I got hands-on, it just clicked. It came naturally. I learned that it takes practice, patience, and believing in yourself.
Now, I do what I love every day. And while I don’t always love doing my own hair (funny how that works!), I love making people feel confident, comfortable, and seen. I’m not just a hairstylist—I’m someone clients can open up to, laugh with, and trust. I’m so grateful I followed my heart. Now I get to work with the most amazing team—my second family—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
