Stylist Spotlight: Ashley Tyler

We’re back with another stylist spotlight—this time featuring Ashley Tyler, one of the incredible talents here at Hair Undone. Known for their welcoming energy, artistic vision, and love of transformation, Ashley brings both heart and creativity to every appointment. Read on to learn more:

What do you love about doing hair?
“The people under the hair. Getting to know someone and creating art that presents their personality to the world.”

What are some of your favorite services that you do?
“I love a big change—so color transformations, big cuts, new bangs, a whole new style. It’s exciting to help someone reinvent their look.”

What are some services/styles you're looking forward to trying?
“I’ve been getting more into reds and curls lately. I want to do more curly bangs and mullets. Also jewel, opal, and jam-inspired color—those rich, dimensional tones are so fun to create.”

What’s a product you tried recently that you love?
“Natural Tech. There’s something for everybody. The customization is everything.”

What is your home routine?
“On wash day, I decide if I’m going curly or straight and choose my shampoo, conditioner, or mask accordingly. I always blow dry my roots for volume, then either air dry for curls or do a full blowout for a straighter look. I always use a heat protectant and something that adds moisture and hold. I sleep with pigtail braids so I don’t sweat out my style, then refresh in the morning with either hot tools or a spritz—depending on the look.”

What are your favorite products for the styles you love to do?
“Davines Texture Spray is almost always at my station, along with Oi Milk. Those two are clutch for almost any look.”

Anything you want people to know about you?
“I have an identical twin sister. I’m a mom to a 3-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy. I want every client to feel comfortable in my chair—there’s no such thing as oversharing. I love to laugh and make people feel at home while they’re here.”
